St. Louis Shock Unveils New Logo and Dynamic Rebranding Ahead of 2024 Major League Pickleball Season

St. Louis, MO - The St. Louis Shock today unveiled an all-new brand and refreshed logo set ahead of the 2024 Major League Pickleball season. The updated logo designs seamlessly blend aggressive elements of professional pickleball with features of the St. Louis area, and are intended to set a powerful look and feel that will be reflected with the team’s on-court playing style, led by a young yet deeply talented team, and further tie the team to its community.

The revamped logo package pays homage to the team's roots in St. Louis while embracing the fast-paced and dynamic nature of pickleball. Drawing inspiration from iconic landmarks and symbols associated with the city, the new design captures the essence of St. Louis while incorporating subtle nods to the sport of pickleball. From the iconic Gateway Arch to the vibrant colors of the city skyline, every element of the new logos reflect the team's deep connection to the St. Louis community without losing site of the aggressive, fast-paced nature of professional pickleball.

"As a team and ownership group deeply rooted in the St. Louis community, we wanted our logo and brand to reflect not only our passion for pickleball but also our pride in representing this great city. We believe the new design perfectly captures the energy and spirit of both St. Louis and the sport of pickleball," said Ross Chaifetz, Owner and General Manager of the St. Louis Shock.

In addition to the fresh logo reveal, the St. Louis Shock have made waves in the pickleball world with their draft selections ahead of the 2024 MLP Season. With top talents such as Anna Bright, Hayden Patriquin, Gabe Tardio, and Kate Fahey joining the roster, the Shock are poised to be one of the most exciting and energetic teams in the sport.

“Led by dynamic top woman Anna Bright, our team is going to boast a swagger and in-your-face style of play in the 2024 season that will be unmatched in MLP. Our desire was to create a look and feel that reflected the aggressive nature with which our team will compete,” Ross Chaifetz added, referring to the newly drafted team with an average age of less than twenty two years old. The newly revamped roster and team construction focused around woman’s superstar Anna Bright was referred to as “genius” and highly acclaimed by media outlets such as Forbes, The Dink, and more, with outlets adding that “St. Louis now boards the two best male teenagers in the sport in Patriquin and Tardio”.

As the team gears up for the 2024 season, fans can expect to see the new logo variations featured prominently in the community, on team merchandise, uniforms, and promotional materials. The St. Louis Shock are not only redefining what it means to be a competitive pickleball team but also setting the standard for innovation and creativity in sports branding and aggressive styling.
