ST. LOUIS SHOCK AND TWO MEN AND A GARDEN ESTABLISH COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP

ST. LOUIS, MO. – The St. Louis Shock team of Major League Pickleball (“Shock”) and Two Men and a Garden (“TMG”) are proud to announce their commercial partnership, intended to accelerate the growth of both brands via sponsorship, cross promotion, joint sales efforts, and more. The two St. Louis-based companies will grow together via commercial efforts intended to promote the St. Louis Shock Pickleball Team, as well as Two Men and a Garden local kitchen products and their shared kitchen and food business accelerator program, Kitchen Hub STL by Two Men and a Garden.

Fans of the St. Louis Shock will see the Major League Pickleball Team’s logo and branding prominently displayed across a variety of TMG’s assets which will include: tens of thousands of TMG product jars distributed across St. Louis, the greater Midwest, and select locations nationally; on TMG’s network of delivery and fulfillment vehicles; and throughout TMG’s website, social media, and marketing assets. TMG will also offer for sale certain Shock items and apparel across its e-commerce channels, and also promote “how to watch” Shock broadcasts, Shock match results, and more.

TMG will become a Proud Partner of the St. Louis Shock and, among other initiatives, will co-produce a series of video and multi-media assets intended to promote TMG’s products and feature St. Louis area food producers. TMG will become a presenting partner of the “Shocking Point of the Tournament” highlight clips following official MLP tournaments, and be featured in various Shock social media posts.

The Shock and TMG will coordinate a variety of joint marketing campaigns, including promotion of TMG’s “Kitchen Hub” - a shared kitchen and food business accelerator space in St. Louis - via co-produced video content within a pickleball “kitchen” (the non-volley zone of a pickleball court).

“We’re pleased to have reached this homegrown partnership with Two Men and a Garden. Collaborating with St. Louis-based companies is an important piece of our strategy as we continue to grow the game of pickleball within the great community we represent,” said Sean Liston, VP of Operations and Development of the St. Louis Shock. “Two Men and a Garden’s products are delicious, and our shared missions of giving back to the St. Louis community are important pillars to both of our organizations. The unique stage of rapid commercial acceleration for both the Shock and TMG made for perfect timing for this partnership,” added Ross Chaifetz, Owner and General Manager of the St. Louis Shock Major League Pickleball Team.

Joel Austin, Founder and CEO of Two Men and a Garden commented, “Being an avid pickleball player and given the obvious tie-in to our products, teaming up with the Chaifetz family, the St. Louis Shock, and the awesome community of pickleball players in the St. Louis area is a fantastic opportunity for promoting our brand.”

Karen Beckmann, VP of Operations said, “As we grow our family of Kitchen Hub members, this partnership will be a fun way to promote our shared kitchen and incubator concept to the St. Louis community.”
